We co-create physical activity interventions

that positively change young people’s lives

We want young people to be told “yes you can’’
to help set them on a path to reach their fullest potential.

At Fit4Life, we focus on positively changing the lives of young people aged between 12-18 years old, from areas of deprivation, and also those that are not in mainstream education. We do this by developing interventions not for young people but with young people – giving young people a voice.

No matter what cards we’ve been dealt in life, everyone should have the opportunity to succeed. It all starts with personal health and self-care. Using physical activity as a vehicle for change, we aim to increase confidence, provide opportunities, use positive role models and ultimately raise the life aspirations of young people.

By working in partnership with community-based organisations who share our aims, we help young people gain that essential initial start in life by improving their health, wellbeing and boosting their life aspirations, to help them be the best they can be.

“It was fantastic to see the girls’ reaction to meeting Dr Zoe Williams. Seeing the girls smiling, laughing and interacting with each other in conversations and activities highlighted how important this project is to them.”

 Miss Rallings, PE Teacher

“I learned that you can achieve anything you want, it doesn’t matter which background you’re from”

“Thank you Zoe for helping me, you are my inspiration”

“I loved this experience and opportunity. Thanks so much”

“It was so much fun I can’t wait for the next session”

I am very much looking forward to working with all involved and improving the activity levels among the girls and inspiring them to ‘love’ sport and physical activity once again

Ms Banks, PE Teacher

Positive Activities: Positive Attitudes

We all know that when we do good things, we feel good. And we know that during lockdown, it's harder for us to do those things that make us feel better.

It's even harder for the vulnerable young people we reach at Fit4Life CIC. And it's not always a pandemic that prevents them from being involved in the positive activities that we know build positive attitudes.

Young people's resilience is built up, for whatever life throws at them, through our Active Link programme.

"Active Link was so fun, the mentors are really kind, funny and supportive. I loved it"
Theo, Year 9

By donating £5, you can make sure that as lockdown restrictions relax, Fit4Life CIC can be there for them. And you'll be doing a good thing too.

Thank you.
